There’s one big reason why you’re not as influential as you want to be.
It’s this.
You’re not sold on the thing you’re selling.
Whether that’s a product or service.
Or maybe selling yourself for something.
You can’t persuade until you are persuaded.
There’s a detector we all have inbuilt.
It can smell B.S. from miles away.
If you’re not convinced you’re language will be weaker.
If you’re not convinced you’re body language will give you away.
If you’re not convinced you will talk past the sale or fail to ask for the sale.
But when you are buyers sense it.
It comes through in everything you do.
They feel your confidence and it makes them feel safe to buy.
So influence, is truly, an inside job.
